Angie's & Jason's Engagements

Angie's & Jason's engagement photos were taken October 15th at a great park in Farmington. It was a pretty windy day so the park was the perfect place to provide a little wind protection. The leaves were beautiful that day and we were able to get some really nice shots. Angie and Jason's wedding is coming up October 25th. More photos of them to come shortly!

Krissy & Chris

Krissy's and Chris's engagement images were taken at the Japanese Garden at Normandale College. These were some of my favorites.
I liked the jean and kakhi outfit choice because it worked well with the red bridge as an element in many of the shots.
It was a nice afternoon and we were able to get some really nice shots. Chris even sacrificed the Viking's game to do these pictures. That's love!

Tara's & Justin's Wedding

Photos started at the hotel where the couple saw each other for the first time. Window light was used for this image for a wonderful quality of light. A very nice portrait.

This was at the Bayview event Center where the reception took place

A casual shot of the guys on the dock.

A fun group shot!

I was very impressed with this pose. They nailed it! I don't think I've seen it done better! Very classic.

A beautiful image of Tara.

This site is absolutley gorgeous! This is a shot during the ceremony.

A bird's eye view really encapsulates the absolute beauty of Weddings of Wayzata. It's perfect!

The bridal party lit sparklers on the dock for a shot. Very unique!

Tara & Justin during their first dance.
Tara & Justin were married October 4th at Weddings of Wayzata. The location is amazing! I really can't say enough. Definitely on my top 5 list of wedding sites. It is absolutely picturesque!
They had a beautiful fall day, which was there theme.
The reception was at the Bayview Event Center which was lovely as well. They had a wonderful day and were so fun to photograph. They are very clearly in love and the pictures reflect that. I had a really hard time narrowing down a few favorites. It was a pleasure to capture their day!

Shannon's Senior Pictures

I thought this was really nice in sepia.

I likedthe way the wind was blowing Shannon's hair for this photo

I really liked the light patterns created by the foliage as the background.

This image and the one below were my favorites. I really liked the golden quality of light behind Shannon on the pathway. I also used a gold reflector on Shannon's face to simmulate the light behind her. It's a very warm image.

Shannon really wanted a shot with her snowboard and the pattern of the snowboard as the background. I think it turned out really cool!
Shannon's senior pictures were taken this fall at the family farm. This was a great location for the pictures with a variety of backgrounds to choose from. We had a fun time and got some great images!

Aubrey's Senior Pictures

Aubrey at her lake access. The light was hitting the dock perfectly to draw your attention right to Aubrey's face. I really liked some of these shots.

I played with the contrast a bit on this one and gave it a little more edge. I was impressed with Aubrey's model look! This image stood out to me.

This was another shot down by the lake. This was a really natural pose. I liked the way the light was backligting her hair and the sun peeking through the leaves was an added bonus.

This is at a park right in Morristown. There is a really cool bridge that this photo was taken on. The bridge creates a leading line that draws your eye through the image

I liked this shot with Aubrey's horse. It just looks very natural. I liked the way her hair is blowing in the image. We had a difficult time working with her horse.

This one was taken in the horse shed. The door worked perfectly to filter the light. I thought this was a really nice background and a strong image.
We did Aubrey's senior pictures early this fall near her home in Morristown. It was a fun morning and the pictures turned out great! Above are some of my favorites.

Sharon & Jesse

One of the getting ready shots at Sharon's parent's home. I liked the 3 way mirror. I overexposed this shot a little bit to put more emphasis on the Sharon's reflection. I thought it was a great black and white image.

A really nice moment between Sharon and her mom. You can see the excitement!

Sharon and Jesse saw one another for the first time in the garden outside the church. It was a really neat secluded area and I loved the way the greenery creates a frame within the image. I added a soft filter to give a more romantic quality to the image.

One of the formal images at the church. The church has a beautiful sanctuary. I was absolutely thrilled that the church had placed the green decorative hanging. The entire back wall is marble which is lovely but very reflective. The hanging absorbed the reflection of the light which made things go very smoothly. The formals turned out great!

I loved this group shot in front of the greens. The colors are so vibrant and they were all relaxed and having fun!

A wonderful closeup of Sharon!

I liked the line of the trees. They lead your eye through the image. A nice moment!

This was a very natural shot of the couple.
Sharon and Jesse were married September 27, 2008 at the St. John's Neumann Catholic Church in Eagan and the reception followed at Bracket's Crossing Country Club in Lakeville. They had a great day weather wise for photographs. It was a little overcast which is fabulous in my book. There are no harsh shadows that way from the direct sunlight. The ceremony was beautiful and Sharon and Jesse were thrilled to say their vows. They are a really nice couple and they had a fun lovin' group. It was a lot of fun to be a part of their big day! Best of luck to the newlyweds!
