Tina and Brad were married August 8th at Westwood Community Church in Chaska. We started with pictures at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, where the reception took place. The arboretum is absolutely beautiful and we were able to take some wonderful images.
The first image has a very romantic feel and I used a soft filter to enhance this. The second image was shot in front of a waterfall and you can see the spray behind them as the background. The couple really enjoys the waterfalls and fountains at the arboretum.
I liked using the architecture in the third image. It really leads your eye through the photo and creates an interesting image. The fourth image I thought was really nice of Tina. She is a striking bride and I liked the soft focus of the white flowers behind her. It seemed a perfect background for the bride. The fifth image is a classic portrait of the bride and groom in the sanctuary.
The image of the bride's and groom's hands was shot using window light.
The ceremony itself was lovely. The bride and groom did an interpretive dance, which I'd never seen before. That was really neat and everyone really enjoyed it. The sixth picture is from their dance.
The last image is of the bride and groom exiting. The lighting was perfect as they left the church during "the golden hour" or dusk. They look thrilled and its a fun image!
Brad and Tina are a wonderful couple and they were great to work with. Their wedding was fabulous and I wish them the best. They deserve it!
