Katie's & Rusty's Wedding

This image was part of the formal session in the sanctuary. The archway was a really nice background.

Rusty and Katie are naturally photogenic, and are a very affectionate couple. I liked the high angle for a little more interest to the image.

Katie looks just beautiful!

I like this very relaxed pose of Rusty.

The guys looking tough! I bumped up the contrast on this image to give a stronger sense to the image. I think it works really nicely with the brick as well.

This is a sweet moment between the couple.

I couldn't decide whether I liked this better in black and white or color. As a black and white there is more emphasis on the pattern created by the line of the couch. It is a beautifully lit, curved line that draws your eye to the couple, contrasted by the straight lines of the window.
The window creates classic Rembrandt lighting on the couples face.

I liked this running photo. Very fun!

Katie & Rusty were married September 13, 2008 at Oak Grove Church in Golden Valley. It was a really nice ceremony performed by a close friend which made it very personal. They had a reception at the church and a reception to follow at the Lowell Inn in Stillwater. We did the formal photos at the church and then some fun bridal party photos at the Inn. Unfortunately it rained most the day but we were still able to get some outdoor shots thanks to an overhang. The overhang actually created really nice light for the images.

Katie and Rusty are a really fun couple and I really enjoyed being a part of the day. They are just adorable together. Congratulations!

Matt & Breanna

This image was shot at the hotel using window light. I thought this was a really nice image. Breanna has the most amazing eyes!

Avery and Andrew were the flower girl and ring bearer and they were great! Avery was so excited she took off down the aisle and little Andrew was left in the dust. It was pretty funny!

The ceremony took place on the waters edge and was very beautiful. It was a close call with rain but it worked out perfectly.

This was a nice moment with the lake in the background.

I like this image of the newlywedds. The skewed angle gives the image a little extra energy.

This was so sweet!!! Avery gave a toast to her parent's on their special day and thanked her new daddy for marrying her mom. She is such a sweetheart and she gave a great toast!

Matt & Breanna were married Saturday September 6th at the Bayview Event Center. The ceremony and reception took place there. It was a very nice day for the couple. The bridal party was a lot of fun and definitley had a good time. Above are some of my favorites from the day.
Breanna and Matt are a great couple! Congratulations again!

Jamie and Heather

I liked the reflection in the side of the car and the way the road leads your eye through the image.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful and this is a sweet image!

I loved this building! Its really cool. The bright blue sky really pulls all the bright colors from the signs together and the jump shot is just fun!

The ceremony was really great! The pastor made it a lot of fun and it was a light mood. You can see the big smile on Heather's face as evidence.

I really liked the brick background for these images. It looks really nice in Sepia too.

That is a model look! Heather looks amazing in this image. I loved it! I used shallow depth of field to really draw all the attention to her eyes and face. I think she could be in a magazine.

Another cool shot from this interesting building!

Heather and Jamie's wedding took place August 31st at the Little Log House in Hastings. Its a really fun place for pictures with so many different places to shoot. I think I could've shot the whole day there. There is a beautiful garden area, fun architectural buildings, and a wonderful church right there for the ceremony. The reception site was also at the same location and was also very beautiful!
The bridal party was a very fun group and it was a really nice wedding. Jamie and Heather are a really nice couple and it was great to be a part of their wedding! Congratulations again!

Sara's and Jeff"s Wedding

Sara and Jeff were married at St. Mark's Catholic Chuch in Shakopee August 30th. The church was a beautiful setting for their vows. Above is one of the formal shots.

This image was taken outside the church. The brick was a really nice background and I really liked this closeup.

The high key white background really draws attention to Sara.

The bridal party was a very fun group! This was a nice shot of them.

They had 3 classic cars for the whole bridal party. This was a fun shot of Jeff and the ladies.

The reception took place at Buck Hill in Burnsville and it was really beautiful. I was really impressed that her grandpa made all the centerpiece stands and the flowers were from their garden. It was very personal and they looked fabulous. Buck Hill is very nice to shoot in because it is very well lit by all the windows and makes for very nice reception photos.

The whole day went really well for the couple. We were able to get some really nice shots of the couple and some really fun candids. I enjoyed being part of the Sara's and Jeff''s day. They are a great couple and I wish them the best! Congratulations again!
