This image was part of the formal session in the sanctuary. The archway was a really nice background.

Rusty and Katie are naturally photogenic, and are a very affectionate couple. I liked the high angle for a little more interest to the image.

Katie looks just beautiful!

I like this very relaxed pose of Rusty.

The guys looking tough! I bumped up the contrast on this image to give a stronger sense to the image. I think it works really nicely with the brick as well.

This is a sweet moment between the couple.

I couldn't decide whether I liked this better in black and white or color. As a black and white there is more emphasis on the pattern created by the line of the couch. It is a beautifully lit, curved line that draws your eye to the couple, contrasted by the straight lines of the window.
The window creates classic Rembrandt lighting on the couples face.

I liked this running photo. Very fun!
Katie & Rusty were married September 13, 2008 at Oak Grove Church in Golden Valley. It was a really nice ceremony performed by a close friend which made it very personal. They had a reception at the church and a reception to follow at the Lowell Inn in Stillwater. We did the formal photos at the church and then some fun bridal party photos at the Inn. Unfortunately it rained most the day but we were still able to get some outdoor shots thanks to an overhang. The overhang actually created really nice light for the images.
Katie and Rusty are a really fun couple and I really enjoyed being a part of the day. They are just adorable together. Congratulations!
